First Mine Hunting Sonar developed with an indigenous design, NUSRAT 1915 is an active sonar with the ability to detect and classify moored and ground mines. First, the system detects mines and/or mine-like objects through detection frequency. Then, it supports the operator to classify these objects throughthe utilization of a higher frequency classification mode.It is foreseen that NUSRAT-1915 will take part in half-life modernisation projects in the future.
